Anyone know how to make a pot of toothpicks?

I'm trying to do a bit of a Viking ship of toothpicks and I can only find pictures, but it is something that could guide me

I do not know what size you want your last ship to be but I think you could use bamboo skewers, toothpicks would be very small. If you make a pallet under stix, then place the skewers in a steamer and make them nice and warm that curve around of its frame and you can glue together.
