Question about Malibu after composer?

I am interested in buying a new boat, whether a signal setter VTX 2008 or a composer VLX 2008 stele, I wondered what the difference between these two boats. I've been watching The VLX has a diamond center, so knowing which calls wakeboard wrong, i do not ski a lot of surfing, wakeboarding, wakeskating. I need to know what boat will be the best surf and board the ship of passage. thanks
