Luxury Charter Yachts
What were the Howells and Ginger on the SS Minnow do anyway?

The Howells and Ginger are obviously rich. Why would they have a Charter tiny, badly overloaded boat on their tropical holiday glamorous. These luxury yacht charter persons not fishing vessels of 25 feet. The professor and Mary-Ann SS Minnow client-type. Their typical tropical holiday probably include a visit of three hours on a fishing vessel earlier models. The Howells and Ginger would most likely chartering a "yacht with 100 employees, caviar and champagne.

Here's what I think ... It was made to add more variety and humor to the show. For many people of different classes ,.... Mary-Anne was the lowest, the agricultural class girl East who had to work to live. Ginger was the pretentious Hollywood type. How often has it worked or upper-middle to upper class. In addition, she had made the most of his assistants working for her. She used her "sex appeal" to come out to do most of the hard work. The Howells ... Just suddenly rich and pretentious. People who had everything done for them. Never had to raise a finger other than paying cash or a check. (How come they have a trunk load of cash on this ship anyway?) Professor. He was the teacher of the middle class that has been there for make batteries out of coconuts to power their radios. The skipper and Gilligan were lower class sailors who had nothing, but the boat and tried to making the tour boat thing. If the show were all below the middle class on the boat, they were off the island sooner than later because they could work to build another boat. As there were only 3.5 people that actually work. (Gilligan accounts for half). So just master, and Marie-Anne Perfesser are uniquely able to work a full day.
